Actions pour la paix et le développement communautaire (APDC) organised child friendly spaces for the benefit of children affected by War in Kuwa avenue located in the village of Ngalula, Ngandja sector in the territory of Fizi, South Kivu province, eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
During these activities, children played different games including football, skipping rope, singing, Ludo and Kaloke games. These games are organised in order to help these children affected by War, to forget the problems that they faced during displacements due to War opposing different armed groups in South Kivu, Maniema and Tanganyika provinces, eastern DR Congo. They were also encouraged to go to school in order to prepare better future, to live peacefully in their communities.
These activities took place this Tuesday 15th October,2024.
Most of them are orphans whose parents were killed.
We help them feel happy in the community, to feel integrated.
