Members of Actions pour la paix et le développement communautaire (APDC) sensitized residents of Vodacom avenue located in Fizi center on fighting against Gender Based violence. 

During this sensitization campaign, residents of Vodacom avenue were encouraged to denounce acts of violence commited against them. They can report those cases to the office of APDC, health facility so that victims can receive assistance, and criminals can face the law. 

We initiated this campaign because most of women are violated/raped but they keep a secret. They do not like other people to know that they were raped. Which can provoke psychological problems.
